Jerry was the best man I’ve ever known he was my pastor for over 10 years. As a lost person who could never find my way the very 1st time I ever heard Jerry preach it was as if God was speaking through him. He changed my life forever. Jerry and Sharon took me under their angel wings and brought me to the lord. The memories of him: The wonderful teaching’s of the lord the fun times. We would always fight over who was gonna get the last of the dinner rolls. The long hr talks, the guidance, the summer vacation. Him cooking me some fried potatoes in a skillet . The youth camp outings, the hospital stays, the volunteer trips to salvation army. The Christmas eve services. The birthday’s the holidays. I could go on forever…. Jerry was the most loving,kind,funny,smart, and he loved you unconditionally no matter what. To Sharon and Candice and Kaylee like they said Thank you for Sharing your incredible husband and father with the world because of Jerry thousands of people’s lives have been changed forever. And because of him bringing so many people to the Lord they will forever be saved in eternity with Jesus. Jerry always talked about he hoped that when he got to heaven they would have potato salad and banana pudding and I hope on this day Jerry you are celebrating this Thanksgiving with Jesus who you were so excited about meeting one day. I will hold those memories forever in my heart. Will love you always.

This task was to make sure that he was faithful to the text, that he was faithful to the proclamation of that gospel, that he was faithful to set forth the whole counsel of God, and then to step back and let it happen. This is exactly what Brother Jerry did. There is no greater cause nor a more noble way to leave a legacy.“As a result of your ministry, they will give glory to God. For your generosity to them and to all believers will prove that you are obedient to the Good News of Christ. And they will pray for you with deep affection because of the overflowing grace God has given to you.” | 2 Corinthians 9:13-14We pray for God’s loving and healing hand to provide comfort to Sharon and all of the family as well as the entire church family.
