Jim was a wonderful neighbor. He loved having the kids play in his yard and garage. He taught them how to use tools and make small projects, shared his rocks with them, and loved giving them ice cream or other special treats. He shared a birthday with Felicity and they would exchange birthday greetings each year. His laugh was contagious and he loved to talk and share stories with us. We will miss him.

Thank you for the friendship you gave my husband and me as your neighbors/friends in our little neighborhood in krum, tx. these past 10 yrs. I loved watching you react to all the children in the neighborhood and the excitement you brought to them with your rocks. You even kept doggie treats in the garage for the neighborhood fur babies. You had a heart of pure gold and reached out to others everywhere you went with that kind personality and loving smile. You always had kind words to everyone. You will never be forgotten to everyone you treated as family. You were the neighborhood grandpa and loved the job of being just that. To know you was to love you and we all did. You loved life and you especially loved the 4 girls in your world…your loving wife, 2 daughters and granddaughter. You often talked of them with such joy and pride. I felt a closeness to them although we never met. Rest in Peace Jim and save a place for the rest of us in your new found world with our Lord and Savior.

Mr. Jim was the best neighbor anyone could ask for. He was a second grandfather to our kids and they loved spending time with him, listening to stories, looking at his gem collection and learning how to build little projects with him. He came to our kids baseball and football games and we truly thought of him as an extended member of our family. Our kids will forever cherish their memories of time spent with him and sharing a popsicle on a hot summer day while visiting with him. We are forever grateful for the love and friendship he displayed for our family! He will be truly missed.
