Phil Bohart
In 1986, Jim learned that I had tried out and made it into my high school jazz band. I played saxophone, like Jim. When he heard I’d be playing baritone sax my senior year, he gave me his baritone saxophone jazz mouthpiece to play. Lend someone your mouthpiece? No one does that. That’s not just the shirt off your back…you put that in your mouth! That was Jimmie. You are loved and missed, sir. Rest in peace. Rest in His heavenly arms, my friend.
