Jimmy Monroe Taylor's Obituary
Jimmy Monroe Taylor, loving husband, father, and “pap-pap” was called home by his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on June 2nd, 2020. Jimmy was born on October 19, 1933 to parents James and Bessie Taylor in Dallas, Texas. He served in the Army from 1954 to 1956, and after an honorable discharge worked as a postman for the city of Carrollton for 30 years.
Jimmy is survived by his wife of 39 years, Millie Taylor, son, Keith Taylor and wife Mary, son, Brian Taylor, Step-Daughter Connie Shaffer, granddaughters Melissa Colman, Stephanie Taylor, and Rebecca Pineda, grandson, Tony Medina, and 9 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Monday, June 8th at Central Park Baptist Church, 1005 Jackson Road in Carrollton, where Jim and Millie were long time members.
