JoAnn McKnight, 77 of Farmers Branch, TX died February 7, 2018, in Carrollton, TX. She was born May 28, 1940, to Archie Giron and Edna Giron in Jeannette, Pennsylvania.She married Charles McKnight on April 4, 1964, in Jeannette, Pennsylvania. She was an administrative assistant at Brookhaven College for 25 years. She was survived by her daughter Susan Hagins of Plano, TX, her son Gary McKnight of Carrollton, Tx and her sister Barbra Miller of Rochester, Pennsylvania. Survivors are continued by her 2 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles McKnight.JoAnn enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed being active in her church, Faith United Presbyterian Church. She loved spending time outdoors and working in the yard. Her hobbies included knitting, crocheting and reading mystery novels. The family request that visiting hours be observed at Restland Funeral Home from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday, February 16, 2018.A funeral service for Mrs. Mcknight will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, February 17, 2018, located at the Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. She will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew and loved her.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243, (972-238-7111).
