Joe Ann Ward, 90, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 24, 2019, in Midland, Texas. She was born on Wednesday, August 28, 1929, to her loving and thoughtful parents, Joseph Lee Manry, Jr. and Mabel L. Stringfellow Manry in Houston, Texas. Joe Ann Ward will be sincerely missed by her loving family, her devoted friends and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved her.She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Douglass Ward and grandson Joseph Clark Thornton. Survivors are daughter, Joanne and Tom Kamper, son, J. Douglass Ward, Jr. and Greg Maresh, daughter, Luanne and Randy Thornton, and grandchildren, Thomas Kamper, Jr., Anne Kamper-Ballinger & Aaron Ballinger, and Sam Thornton.Visitation for Joe Ann Ward will be held Friday, November 29, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home.
