My dad was a great role model for Pam and me. Being a child of the depression, we didn't always get what we wanted but we always had what we needed. Most especially, we had his love. Tell mom hello for us. We love you both. Stacy

Thank you John for teaching me how to be a better chess player these last two years. I'm glad you were willing to "spot" me 6 points, but doing so only kinda balanced out the game. The score was usually 3-0. I liked hearing you say "what to do…what to do". That phrase meant I had put you in a precarious position, but usually it only lasted 1 or 2 moves! I still have the cap with the long hair that you gave me. Even though I'm more bald headed than you, you made me feel comfortable by you also wearing a long hair cap! and your hair was done in a ponytail! When I first started coming to "Game Day" at San Remo, Nell was the only one who would come and I got to play 42 with her – it was swell when we drew for partners and I got Nell as a partner. Lots of nice game times with both of you! Even better times for you both now that you are Home with the Lord! Your Friend, George
