John Harold Fowler's Obituary
John H. Fowler, 82, of Richardson, TX passed away on January 11, 2020. Beloved son of Victor and Eleanor Fowler, John and his twin brother, Jim, were born in Detroit, Michigan. John was a proud graduate of Detroit Catholic Central High School, and went on to graduate from the University of Detroit. He served in the United States Air Force, stationed at Sheppard Air Force Base in Texas and overseas in South Korea. He married Judith Rossi in 1964. During their 56 years of marriage they raised four children, traveled, and always welcomed friends and family to their home. John played fast-pitch softball from childhood into his adulthood. His family spent many Saturday evenings watching his team play at Huffines Park. John passed his love of athletics to each of his children, and rarely missed a game that they played. He coached soccer teams, was a member and past President of the Richardson Host Lions Club, an active alumni for Catholic Central High School, and photographed many special occasions and events, including Dallas Cup. For over 50 years, John was fortunate to earn his living as a stockbroker, a career that he loved, and included years as a Senior Vice President for E.F. Hutton. John had sideline passes to the Dallas Cowboys for many years, and photographed the Cowboys and Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders. He found joy in giving prints of his photos to the players and cheerleaders. John is preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Eleanor Fowler, and his nephew, Joe Fowler. John is survived by his devoted wife, Judy, his brother, Jim, and his children: Debbie (husband Mark) Weidner, Kelly (husband Sam) Villarreal, John Fowler, and Mark (wife Regan) Fowler.
