I will miss fishing with John and early breakfasts. I was his room mate early in sobriety at Coles sober house in Plano. Later I rented a room from him off of circle cove in Allen. Late 2024 we had been talking about him getting a travel trailer and getting back to fishing more often. He helped me stay sober for 13 years helping me restructure my life. I will miss him greatly.

John was one of my closest friends for the last decade. He loved my critters like they were his own critters, especially Duke. We shared regular weekend coffee with animated debates. I loved his stories about his childhood. He was extremely proud of his service and to be an American. He has left a hole in my heart. I love you John.
