Smut was one of the best bosses I ever worked for, a bit arrogant at times, but that was just his way. We always got along very well. Hunted quail with him and his dad in
Little Elm, Smut had a Sweet 16 I was forever trying to talk him out of, he kept saying one day.

I enjoyed working with Johnnie and having our friendship for many years. He always could find humor in day-to-day work life and was well respected by all. My wife Cheryl and I also bowled with Johnnie and Sandra in the E-Sy bowling league. Fine people, fine couple. Bless you, Sandra.

Billy and I are very sad to hear of Johnnie's passing. Billy worked with Johnnie for many years at ESystems. And, they were our neighbors here in Garland for a while.
