Jon and I were dance buddies and dear friends for many years. We shared a love of all things dance; I will never forget the countless Nutcrackers and other performances that we have attended over the years. Dance classes at Broadway Dance Center in New York, volunteering for the carnivals at Harry Stone, the Christmas morning movie at North Park and so many other memories. I will miss you deeply.
Ms Jon is too large of an inspiration and blessing to even put into words. I've known her my entire life and cherish every moment I've had. She taught me to love endlessly and enjoy life and I'll take that with me for all time. I hope she's getting to dance for eternity happily. I love you and miss you dearly. xoxoxoxo ❤️
Jon and I worked together at Ford, Bacon, and Davis, Texas for 20 years. We stayed in contact over the years. She was very energetic and well respected by all who knew her. Jon was a good friend and she was able to pull people together for the great cause. I will miss her and the world lost a great person.
Some of my fondest memories of my aunty Jon (AJ) are rooted her unwavering acceptance of me throughout my life.
No matter what path I chose or what I was going through, she embraced it without question.
We could talk for hours on the phone — about everything and nothing — always supporting one another through laughter, reflection, and unconditional love.
Those conversations were my safe space, and her voice was a constant source of comfort and such love. I will forever miss my sweet, sweet AJ.
Jon and I were friends for over 50 years.
Auntie Jon was my best friend, my mentor, my soul sister, my partner in crime. There are so many memories.
She taught me about life. She took me into her family and that is a precious gift.
Jon was a teacher and she always gave the best of herself. If you knew her, you loved her! I love you and I miss you, my friend.
While we didn’t know Ms Jon for a long time on this earth, we were blessed to be a part of her dance family. She greeted each child with a smile when they entered her studio, she loved hugs (at any time), and she worked tirelessly to ensure the performance was perfect. She taught every student the importance of hard work and dedication while instilling a love for ballet. Thanks so much for everything Ms Jon, we will miss you!
We only knew each other for a short time here on Earth, but our family was blessed to be part of Ms Jon’s dance community. She always had a smile as she welcomed each child into class, she loved extra hugs (at any time) and she went above and beyond to make sure that the performance was perfect. Ms Jon emphasized hard work and dedication to the craft while fostering a love for ballet! She was an amazing woman and will be missed!
