Stephanie, Jasmine & Jason. Words can't express how sorry I am for your loss. He was a kind man and full of wonderful humor. I'm blessed to see some of that very same humorous streak in my little brother. Uncle Jon is very very much missed and so well loved by all of us. My favorite memory of him was when we got to catch up with everyone when you all lived in Waco and mom and I got to come see you all and Grandma before we lost her. Jasmine, Jason and Jon had pulled that joke with Gretchen on Aunt Stephanie. It's a memory I still laugh about when I see the picture but makes me sad to know he's not with us now to laugh about it. I know in my heart we will see him again someday. It's hard for those he left behind. You're all in my heart and thoughts and prayers. We will catch up again in person one of these days and I will give each of you hugs then, until then hugs from across the states. Love much kendra.
Stephanie just want you to know Dwayne and I are praying for you and your family. May God give you peace and strength during this time. Love you! Nita and Dwayne Carter
I met Jon a few years ago when he started with Cardinal Health. Such a kind, gentle soul. I am so very sorry for you loss. Jane A.
Jon, My brother ever has been my hero. When mom said she was having a baby i was adamant it had to be a boy. Jon was that brother i longed for and always since looked up to. Jon was smart, he had a keen sense of humor even ornery at times. He was a terrific athlete, so little league, track and other sports became part of our family. We were very proud of both his accomplishments and his character. Later he worked with telescopes and ran star shows at the planetarium in Twin Falls. Through this Jon developed a lifelong interest in astronomy eventually getting degree in physics. He had a good ethic and worked hard at all kinds of jobs growing up. He loved airplanes, especially the old ones. He loved his family and my heart goes out to them as i know how much he's missed. Because of our age difference we missed some years. With school, jobs, marriage and parenthood we were separated by miles and responsibilities. More recently we caught up with long phone conversations about what was happening with kids and grandkids and antics of pets. He teased me about my backyard chickens, since he considered chickens only good if they were for dinner. We shared memories about growing up, we talked about feelings, belief, music, reading, science and art. All things we loved. He told me he used to ride my horse when i was gone. All these conversations showed his caring generous nature and strength. I miss you and hold you in my heart more than words can say trusting we will see each other again where.. "Death shall be no more, neither shall there be anguish, nor grief, nor pain.." Revelations 21:4
Going to miss Jon and his jokes! It was a pleasure to have known and worked with him.
Thinking of the Taylor family during this difficult time. May the words of Isaiah 25:8 bring comfort, peace and hope. For God promises to swallow up death forever and wipe the tears from all faces. Please know you will be in my thoughts and prayers.
