Jon Taylor's Obituary
Jonathon Howard Taylor, born March 2, 1956 in Twin Falls, Idaho, passed away on October 12, 2016 at the age of 60. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Stephanie; their dogs Stubby, Chicken Nugget, Lexie, and Black Dog; son Jason Taylor; daughter Jasmine Palka and husband Keith; his grandchildren Garin, Griffin, and Violet. Jon will be remembered as a man who loved his family deeply and wouldn’t hesitate to help a friend in need. He lived a full life with a broad range of interests including volunteering with the Tulsa, OK Squadron of the Commemorative Air Force, space exploration, history, building and flying remote control airplanes, and many trips with Stephanie to Mexico. Jon was always quick with a joke and treasured time with his growing family, sharing his passion for space and teaching his grandsons how to build and launch model rockets. The memorial service for Jon will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, October 22 in the Abbey Chapel at the Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243. Rev. Dr. Michael Waco will officiate and the service will be under the direction of Restland Funeral Home.
