I worked with Joe at GM. He was such a great guy. Always pleasant to be around and he loved sports . We attended a few high school playoff games together. Since New Orleans was where he was from, and I loved New Orleans, we were instant friends. I will miss Hoss very much, and will think about him every time I go to a ball game.

Squeak was a mentor, coach and friend. Someone who loved sports and respected all aspects of the various sports. He taught me great life skills and human dignity and competitiveness but also how to be an honorable black man with common sense. He also enjoyed New Orleans cuisine and great fan of good food. Rest In Peace Hoss and look over us from that big football field, basketball court and golf course from the Heavens above!!

Squeak was a motivator to Kids a nd adults he was given a gift from God on how to speak to people. He could make you change your mind with just a few words. Never raised his voice and always kept a smile
I thank God i had the opportunity to
meet him we became very close friends. I loved him like a person who i could Trust. He was a loving Husband. Father that loved his family. He was a coach that knew what to say to his players to get the best out of them. I won his love because I showed him respect and had the heart to win.Horse i miss you and it hurts because you did alot for me on and field. Rest in peace again thanks for all you did for me. Toni i love you and tell the kids he was my dad also.
