We want you to know what a dear friend your dad has been to us always but especially during Bob's battle with cancer. Joe was always there to encourage & share his strong faith with us. When Joe moved to Brookfield from Marceline, I may have been the first person to befriend him. We shared many many moments and memories in the 9th grade before I moved away. We were best friends and most competitive on the athletic field or court or lake or whatever. Even competed for the affection of the same female occasionally. But we were always there for each other when needed. Completely lost track of each other after U of MO. What a shame that that happened. My prayers for and thoughts of Joe will be many in the future. My condolences to his family.
