Joseph Browder Jr.'s Obituary
Born March 1, 1928 in San Antonio, Texas and passed away October 12, 2014 in McKinney, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Josephine Browder; brother, Rudy Browder; wife, Margie Browder of 65 years.Survived by daughters, Sandra Hightower and partner Pam Oneal, Sherry Poe and husband Frank, Sheila Thomason and husband Michael;grand children, David Hightower and wife Lisa, Janna Griffiths and husband Kenneth, Joseph Thomason and wife Ericka, Toby Thomason and wife Erin; great grandchildren, Audrey and Wesley Hightower, Emory, Aidan, Kayleigh, Barrett Thomason and Moses Thomason. Joe attended Crozier Tech High School and was a football player. He dated Margie and later they married. Not long after they were married. Joe was called to serve his country as a Master Sergeant in the US Army. He also served his country in the Coast Guard. Joe and Margie joined Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church in 1960, where he taught the new Christians class for young children. He also went for many years to pre-teen camp and on many mission trips. Joe loved fishing and attending all his grand children’s activities. The visitation for Joe will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 from 6:00-8:00pm at Restland Funeral Home. The service for Joe will be on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church Dallas at 12:00pm. 9810 La Prada Dr, Dallas, TX 75228.
