Dear Dr. Angie, I hope you get this! I was at the funeral & reception today and about 3:45 I said to Mr. & Mrs. Henexson, "I need to go meet Angie!" We looked and you weren't to be found. My "bad". I just wanted you to know that Joe and I were friends and colleagues for 20 years and He was soooooo happy when he met you and was able to make you his wife. I am grateful to you for making this man's final years so special. I am extremely thankful to Joe for his life lessons, his tender heart and his caring ways. He also had the best "business" brain I have ever had the privilege of working with! You see, I worked as a procurement specialist for Solar Turbines for 24 years and for 19 of them I got to know Joe. I had the Purchasing Contract that governed our business relationship. The man was brilliant in his work with Solar as a consultant & partner in out business. In 2008 he hired my son, Gary to work at Commerce Grinding. He, Mike Paul, & Tim taught Gary so much in the 4 years he worked for them! He learned every machine and every operation in all buildings. He then felt that he needed to do something different and daring, so he joined the Marines in 2012. Joe was than supportive and he and the company wished him well and sent him on his way. He still has close ties to Commerce and special personnel & professional friends even as he serves in Tentynine Palms, CA. He was broken about Joe and that he couldn't be here for the funeral. He sends you his heartfelt condolences. Joe was like a father to his 20 years. We were very close professionally and personally, largely because we shared the same ethic. He will be missed and I wish you comfort in your loss and blessings for your whole family. Hopefully I will have the chance to shake your hand someday! Respectfully, Janet Cole
