Joseph Bryant Powers of Rowlett, Texas was born on May 1, 1989 in Dallas, Texas, and passed away unexpectedly on August 4, 2024. He is survived by parents William Dale Powers and Juli Purcell Powers, and brother Stevie Powers.
Joey was a musician and teacher. He graduated from Texas Tech University. He traveled to Norway for a year, and spent time touring musically. Joey received the highest Boy Scout achievement of Eagle Scout. He was a beloved son, brother, nephew, grandson, teacher and friend who will be eternally loved and missed.
