I adored Aunt Joyce and always appreciated how she embraced me and made me feel like part of the family. Just thinking about her and Uncle Richard makes me feel loved. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. Love you all. Roberta
I think I was about 6 years old when I met the Kincy family. Joyce kept my sister and I after school. Joyce's children and I shared memories of our two families; the Beans and the Kincy for many years. I have known the Kincys for over 50 years and my father, Billy Bean, and my mother, Bette Bean have shared 50 years of memories. They travelled together, and partied together so many times. Make note: the children were not invited. Many years have passed since those days; but make no mistake I cherish all the memories. I last saw Richard and Joyce at Mother and Daddy's 55th Wedding Anniversary. It was such a pleasure to see them after so many years. I remember marveling at the tenacity Joyce exhibited for the zest for life. She fought a long and hard battle to live. When I say she fought long and hard; I don't mean what is normally meant by that. She FOUGHT LOOOOONNNNG AND HHHHAAAARRRRD. Many, many, many years. She is one of the strongest women I have ever had the privilege of knowing. I loved her and held her in the highest regard. I know her family will miss her very much and I pray that they will all gather from her strength and live forward as she would have them do. BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL WOMAN. RICHARD…SHE LOVED HER MAN!!!!
I don't remember a time when Aunt Joyce did not have a smile on her face. No matter the circumstances she always made me feel instantly warm and loved. Love, Linda and Steve
