Old friends will always be missed. They are part of who we are, who we have become. We were blessed to be a part of the old Lubbock gang growing up, dancing to the Four Teens and Buddy Holly and the Crickets. Great times, immense fun, and wonderful memories. Judy was an integral part of those times. We will miss this grand lady. Our prayers and sympathies go out to her family. With Love, Akie and Mary
A wonderful and special lady, who was a longtime friend. May she be at peace. Judy Roper-Smith and Alan Smith
Judy was a special pledge sister in Zeta Tau Alpha. I always admired and loved her sweet spirit, and will remember her as a lovely person! She had a "regal" look and feel about her, and never complained- even when her eyesight began to fail! I'm sure she & Joe are "dancing in heaven"! Special prayers to the family!
Judy was a beloved pledge sister in Zeta Tau Alpha. I admired and loved her, and we remained friends through the years, because our husbands were both Theta Chi's, too! She always had a smile, and never let anything get her down. She was a beauty- inside & out!
