Julia Ann Brady's Obituary
Julia Ann Brady, born at Dallas, Texas on June 3, 1954 to Jack and Kathryn Brady died at Baylor Hospital on April 11, 2015. She is survived by her parents, her older brother, Douglas W. Brady,and wife Julie her younger sister, Susan Wideman and husband David, her nephews Barrett Brady, Brooks Brady, Matthew Wideman and wife Randi, and daughter McKinley, and niece Amanda Morgan and husband Nathan. Julia graduated from Baylor University, taught school at FBA, served as a Delta Flight Attendant, obtained a Masters in Sociology and served as an educational counselor with DISD. She was always a lover of horses and owned and rode her favorite regularly; however she contracted PLS in later life and suffered loss of her physical strength, restricting her ability for speech, robbing her of her balance and resulting in many injurious falls. Determination was one of Julia’s strengths and she fought through her problems with the help of her many friends who surrounded her with love and constant support. She will be missed by her family and friends for her tender heartedness, her loving character and her loyal friendship. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Insight for Living, P. O. Box 5000, Frisco, TX, 75034-0055. A memorial service for Julia Brady honoring her passing will be held at Restland Funeral Home on April 16,2015 in The Memorial Chapel at 10:00 AM for family and close friends, with Dr. Robert Jeffress officiating. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
