I met Kathleen when I started working at Region 10 in 1998. She was a friend and a mentor for many years. Kathleen was the perfect combination of dedication, intelligence, personality, kindness, beauty (inside and out), helpfulness and professionalism. If a human could be an angel on earth, you would have Kathleen. I have added some pictures to this tribute that illustrate how versatile she was. She always had a smile and could get along with anyone. It was an honor and a privilege to have known and worked with her, and I will never forget her. As she was an angel on earth, she has now gone home to Heaven. I remember attending Fred’s service at Restland, after his passing, to offer my support to Kathleen, and it is of some comfort to know that they have now been reunited. My heart and prayers go out to her family and I would like to thank them for sharing her with us for so many years. Thank you and bless you!

Both Fred and Kathleen were special people and great friends.
Since moving to Florida, I've missed Kathleen bringing over fresh bread or 2 dozen eggs.

I started with Region 10 ESC on 8/30/2004 and supported the Calendar of Events system. Over the years I would interact with Kathleen when she needed assistance with the system, the current Executive Director, or anything else she needed me to help with. Kathleen was a pure joy to talk to and I lost track of how many times that happened. Kathleen made the workplace more pleasant and her smile was always there when you saw her. I helped her with 3 or 4 different Executive Directors over the years here, as she had been here helping everyone that had ever been here. I know she made a difference here and each new Executive Director was able to perform their job better as Kathleen was able to orient them faster from her experience with Region 10 ESC. I remember when she was honored with the Scholarship in her name that has assisted many Administrative Assistants in furthering their education. I was glad to see her at the banquets and give her a hug for her wonderful service and kindness to all the staff at R10. I will always miss her and she definitely was a blessing to all who had the honor of encountering her in their lives. She is one of those who touched the lives of others and made them better off knowing her. God blessed us with her presence
