To the family of Kay's my deepest sympathy, I loved Kay and she was a devoted Season Ticket holder at Richardson Theatre Centre for many , many years! We were all amazed how she continued to drive herself and her friend Gloria on Sunday matinees. I so enjoyed her presence, she certainly was my favorite and we'd have long conversations. We had not seen her since the pandemic, and thought she was just quarantining. I was thinking of her today while at the theatre, and tried looking her up. I was sad to see this of her death, but I knew she was now with her beloved husband that she spoke of often. My prayers to all who miss her...I know I certainly will!

I worked with Kay's husband, Don, for several years at Sinclair R&D center, later Atlantic Richfield R&D. He was my favorite boss. I started writing Christmas cards to him after he was transferred to Plano TX, and Kay would always respond with a long note in the card. I kept writing cards over the years, and it really became a 50 year correspondence with Kay, especially after Don passed away. I really enjoyed our relationship, Kay was always interested in my family and such. She was the best. She will be missed.

We moved across the street from Kay and Don back in 2000 and have lived here ever since. Kay became one of our favorite people in no time. We'd visit frequently - usually out front when we caught each other outside. We'd also come in and chat sometimes ..... catching up on Kay's adventures, trips and cruises. But one of her most prized possessions was her church organ (well, not a big church organ but you know what I mean) and she loved to play it. Kay became our surrogate grandmother and she often said I was her adopted son .... which still touches me when I think about it. My wife Mary battled cancer from about the time we moved in and I lost her in October. Kay was always so thoughtful and concerned - always asking about Mary and sending her love and prayers. Like Mary, I'm comforted in knowing that Kay is at peace now and reunited with her loving husband Don .... and with Mary. I am so very thankful to have shared all this time with Kay as a neighbor and dear friend. I send all of my love and prayers for comfort to her extended family. May she rest in peace - she was such a fun, spry and beautiful person. I shall miss her greatly.

Kay and my mother Dora Guillot were very good friends. After my mother passed away, Kay helped me out more than anyone. I would often call her at night where she would encourge me and make me feel better. I'm going to miss her very much....Thomas
