Kenneth Wayne Trusty's Obituary
Kenneth Wayne Trusty, 90, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Easter Sunday morning, April 20, 2025. Born in Comanche, Oklahoma, on March 6, 1935, Ken was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. He dedicated over 53 blissful years of marriage to his wife Judy Trusty that passed on June 1, 2023. Ken was known for his kind spirit, loving nature, and incredible generosity to his friends and loved ones. While he committed over 50 years of his career in the field of sales and electronics, his true passion was family.
He is survived by his three sons, Forrest, Mark and Brian Trusty, daughter-in-law Gaye Lynn Trusty, and son-in-law Reynaldo Rangel, Jr.. Ken has eight grandchildren, Valerie, Ambre, Taylor, Victoria, Kelsey, Savannah, Chase, and Lyla, and six great-grandchildren, Fabian, Jayden, Keellon, Addyson, Harper, Emma and Camden.
Ken thoroughly enjoyed spending time introducing his children and grandchildren to the great outdoors by taking them hunting, fishing and camping.
After a lifelong desire to go big game hunting in Africa, this dream became a reality in 2009 when he was accompanied by two of his sons and his brother-in-law on the hunt of a lifetime. He also enjoyed extensive travel in Asia over the course of his career, passing the passion for travel down to his children.
A memorial service will be held May 31, 2025, at 10:30am, at the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243.
