(2 Corinthians 6:10), ‘give yourself generously
A truly remarkable woman of extraordinary gifts & the willpower to use them. Her love for Jesus inspired so many that we all are her treasures she laid up in heaven.
A Texas native, a wonderful wife to G. A. Carey for 69 years, mother of three Richard Carey, Fred Carey, Susan w Jeremy Richmond along with 8 grand children & 8 great grandchildren.
Her legacy is God’s word seeded in each of us who listened, her zeal for God’s word was insatiable to the very last day.
What she did as a Bible scholar gave us treasured souls, a pastor, a teacher, a councilor, an author. As an artist she embellished our lives with beauty of her own hands showing us how to love in deed.
No greater love can one have than to lay down their life for a friend, she got up and did that every day of her life.
Legacy and Joy:
Grandchildren: Blaine (Brittney), Nicole, Richard, Jr, Matthew (Tracy), Nathaniel, Cole (Chase), Brody and A.J. Great-Grandchildren: Noah, Gabriella, Malachi, Braxon, Bayla, Grant, Susie and William.
Preceded in death by her parents: Herbert and Tiny; her precious baby Paul; her brothers A.J. and Don Owen, sister-in-law: Dorthy & Teri Owen and nephew little Herbert.
Forever in our hearts. Forever In His grace. Jesus touched her, He took her April 4, 2026.
