I only met Larry when he was admitted in the hospital and took care of him. I know he is in lot of pain but he still showed his smiling and positive attitude and Susan has not left his side and I can see their unconditional love to each other. His eyes will sparkle and look Susan when he hears her voice. When he left the hospital his loving heart still radiates and gave us the thumbs up and a big smile the staff has something to say about him and Susan. Of course a good one. May you rest in Peace Larry

I'm so sorry to hear about Larry's passing.

He was such a sweet Christian man and I always enjoyed visiting with him. My Mother, Arlene Roan Ryan. always mentioned your and Larry's visits and enjoyed each and every one of them. We both loved the two of you and your sweet family, and greatly appreciate your friendship. I have a lot of wonderful memories from my time of serving our Lord and Savior at First Christian Church Rowlett and you, Larry and your family are a big part of those memories.

Simply put, Larry was a good man.

He was a good son-in-law. He did so much for our mother, bringing food, taking her to the doctor, spending time with her.
He was a good cook. He could roast and carve a Thanksgiving turkey like no other, and his cranberry salad was the best. He taught his grandsons to cook, and they have followed in his footsteps.
He was a good brother-in-law. I loved his dry sense of humor. He made me laugh and put up with my quirky ways. I always knew he would do anything for me.
He was a good husband, father,
father-in-law, grandfather, and uncle. He was a good friend to so many. The stories and too numerous to count.

Simply put, Larry was a good man.

Larry was one of the greatest men I’ve known. He always had a way of lighting up a room and being in a space with him always felt inviting and full of love. He always made me feel welcome and included. He left a space here on earth but his legacy will live on with all those who his light touched.
