Webb, Lavinia, June 30, 1927-May 1, 2010 A memorial services to celebrate the life of Lavinia Webb will be Monday, May 3 at 11:00 am, Northway Christian Church. Interment will be one hour prior at Restland Funeral Home, Greenville Ave. Our dear Mother and family Matriarch has left this life to be with our Lord and Savior. Born June 30, 1927 to Lonnie and Willie Faubion in Runnels County Texas, she had 3 sisters and 4 brothers. She received her music degree and teacher’s certificate from North Texas State University, married her college sweetheart James Dean Webb in November 1947. They had three children Pamela, Jack and Lonnie and two grandchildren John-David Webb and Deanna Webb. She was a Member of Northway Christian Church for 45 years and served as Choir Director, caregiver and as an Elder. A beloved chorus and elementary educator for 35 years in the Highland Park school district, she relished in the lifetime relationships formed with prior students. Mom was a delightful classy lady and dear friend to a great many people. Her grace and genuine love for others was evident to all and especially to whom she knew and loved. She was ready to see her Lord Jesus. Lavinia was preceded in death by her husband, Jim of 55 years and beloved daughter, Pamela. She is survived by her son Jack and wife, Myra and grandson, John David; her son Lonnie and wife Carla and granddaughter, Deanna; two sisters Nelda (Faubion) Thomason, Elnita (Faubion) Tackett; brother Aubrey Faubion; numerous neices and nephews and a multitude of friends. In lieu of flowers, her memory may be honored with a contribution to Northway Christian Church and Juliette Fowler Home.
