As his next door neighbor I will sure miss his presence in his garage working on something for his family . He was a quiet man, never spoke an ill word about anyone. I am so happy he got to enjoy sweet travels in the RV. before his setbacks. Happy trails to You Honey
Larry was definitely cool! Lots of good memories from the Texas High School Tiger Band days back in the late '50s. I remember when we passed out Shakos (band uniform hats) Larry's hat size was the largest size we had! Not that he had a "big head;" Larry was so kind and gentle. . God Speed, Larry Bachman Speed
Met Larry when I started dating Pat Lusk in about 1958. We often double-dated (back when that was common). One time Pat and Larry drove up to my house to pick me up and parked out in the street in front of my house. I had 2 little brothers -ages 8 and 6 about that time – and they piled themselves in Larry's dad auto, locked the doors and would not open them when we got ready to leave. Larry was an only child so I'm sure he just couldn't get over how they were acting – even tho' to me it was normal. Eventually their game was over and we left. Pat and I spent many a good time with Larry over the last 52 yrs. Now he and Pat are yaking about all their good times. RIP my friend. Kay Reed Lusk Texarkana

Larry and I, along with other friends in the band at Texas High, spent many happy hours cruising around Texarkana always on the lookout for girls in the late '50's in his parents huge land yacht Lincoln before we had our own cars.
