Larry, I just learned that Layne passed away earlier this year. We were freshman roommates in Jester dorm at the University of Texas. While we did not keep up with each other much, I always remember her as so sweet and fun. She was definitely a light in the world. 🙏 Nora Mullarkey Miller

Larry, I have just learned of Layne's death. I am so sorry. And I am sorry to have missed her service. I would have been there had I known. I agree that this picture captures Layne's enthusiasm for life and sweet spirit. She always had a twinkle in her eye. Layne is now in the arms of her Savior and rejoicing in His glory. Family friends for years with our cousins & Aunt Corinne Thompson who lived on Dentport in Dallas. We spent holidays and many included Layne, Eric, Ali, Amy, Dottie & Dutch. Layne has an infectious laugh, and would light up a room with her beautiful smile. She will be greatly missed by all.
