Lee Mathis Hodo Jr.'s Obituary
Born: September 1, 1956, in Mineral Wells, Texas, and passed away February 16, 2015 in Dallas, Texas. Lee Hodo had the gift of listening and empathy. He had a quiet demeanor and a warm smile. His career in law enforcement began with the Dallas County Juvenile System} and continued on with years as a United States Probation Officer. More recently he worked at The Bridge Homeless Shelter. His work was important to him} and he used his quiet strength to offer consolation} direction} and reassurance to others. He enjoyed sports} having played college basketball at Anderson College in Indiana} and was a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. He enjoyed music} cats} and travelling. He will be missed. Preceded in death by mother, Grace Hodo; and father, Lee Mathis Hodo, Sr. Lee is survived by his brother, Michael Hodo; sister, Cathy Hodo; Ex-wife/Friend, Sherril Day, and many others who walked with him. The service for Mr. Lee Hodo, Jr. will be Friday, March 6, 2015 at 09:30 AM in The Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
