Tom & Faye Cocke
Lenora first introduced me to the Pacesetters Sunday School Class at Axe Memorial United Methodist Church. I had dropped my son, Jim, at his Sunday School Class and John and Laura were safely in the nursery. I headed down the empty hallway, as I was a bit late, not really sure where I was going. As I approached the alcove there at a huge desk sat Lenora. She looked at me with her beautiful smile and said, "Are you looking for a Sunday School Class?" I responded yes and she stood up to take me around the corner, across the hall from what was then the church office, and now the Choir room, to the Pacesetters. As she opened the door, Ann Arrington, declared " It's my little neighbor!" We laughed and I was ushered into the classroom to learn that Lenora had taken me to her class. She was a sweet and gently lady with a beautiful smile and infectious laugh! She and Tex were a wonderful, loving and caring couple, who loved their family and church family. Tom and I are so glad that she introduced us to her Pacesetters Sunday School Class, where we became life long friends. We will miss you.. Our sympathies to Diane and family. Tom and Faye Cocke
