Leo Bader Danforth's Obituary
DANFORTH, LEO BADER June 24, 1929-January 24, 2009 Beloved husband and Daddy has gone on to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Mitchell. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ruby B. Danforth and daughters, Lisa Kaiser and Tammy Foster. He is also survived by grandchildren, Joshua & Sarah Covington, Asheley & John Elder, Jordan Covington, Jed, Michael, and Rachel Foster and Austin Danforth and numerous Great Grandchildren. Leo was a member of Local 20 IBEW for over 50 years and help build the Greater Metroplex. He was a faithful member of Valwood Park Baptist Church and pioneer it’s beginning. Leo loved people. He served his country faithfully, served the Lord faithfully by helping the people of the church. Leo was a great and loving man. He would give you the shirt off of his back if you needed it. He was a mountain of a man and will be greatly missed. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM, Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at Valwood Park Baptist Church, 2727 Valwood Parkway, Farmers Branch, TX.
