Lewis Allen "Al" Williams' Obituary
Lewis Allen “Al” Williams, born in Dallas, TX, passed away on January 12, 2018 in Frisco, TX. He is preceded in death by his parents A.D. Williams and Sarah Kretsinger Williams. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Sandy Williams, son Greg Williams, wife Jennifer and their children, Hunter and Harper of New York, NY, son Eric Williams and wife Ashley of Dallas, TX, sister Barbara Fisher and husband David of Midlothian, TX, and numerous beloved nieces, nephews and cousins. As a child, Al enjoyed spending time with family and friends, being around horses and playing sports. He attended Adamson High School in Oak Cliff where he was a member of the 1964 State Finalist basketball team and made lifelong friends. A Texas Tech graduate, he went on to have a long career in medical sales and later as a marketing and product manager for medical products. After over 25 years in Temecula, CA, Al and his wife have more recently split their time between California and Texas in order to be closer to family. Al adored spending time with his family, particularly his children and grandchildren. A very social man, Al loved talking to anyone he met, especially about sports and the teams he loved – the Dallas Cowboys, TCU Horned Frogs and Dallas Mavericks. Long known for his outgoing personality and easygoing nature, nothing meant more to Al than family and friends. The visitation will be held at Restland Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 17 from 6:00-8:00 PM. The service will be held at Restland Memorial Chapel on Thursday, January 18 at 2:30 PM with a reception to follow at Restland Event Center.
