I throughly enjoyed attending WB46 at Philmont and meeting Lewis who was one of the more memorable "OFs" and "Good Doctors," who staffed the course. I also had the priviledge of staffing WB courses with Lewis. He will be missed by many.
The world has suffered a great loss. Lewis was truly a great man. Yes, he received recognition for his efforts on earth, but these did not hold a candle to his real worth. Mark Twain said; "Always do right. This will gratify some people and astonish the rest." If you were fortunate enough to know Lewis, you are probably spoiled because he was only capable of doing "right".
