I am so glad we had a long conversation a couple of weeks ago and shared some memories and agreed that we were lucky for the time we were given. You were a good friend for over 65 years. Will miss you.
Lewis (or Junior as we all called him back then) was my "running buddy" during our teenage years. He and I literally grew up together and relied on his dad's jeep as our means of transportation. Some of the things we did are not mentionable today and even over the years we often wondered how we managed to survive some of our ordeals. We played all the various sports together – Junior was a superb athlete back then, especially in basketball. He actually went to college on a basketball scholarship at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. It's hard to accept the fact that he is no longer with us in the physical sense but he will always be here in spirit and the many memories he helped create. My condolences go out to Junior's family. Rest in peace dear friend and may the good Lord let the perpetual light shine on you. So long old buddy – I'll meet you on the other side one of these days. Much love and respect, A W Radle Kingwood, Texas

I had the privilege of working and traveling with Lewis off and on for over 38 years. He was one of the smartest, nicest men I have ever met. When I had a question about the oil industry, which we both loved, I would call Lewis. A wonderful friend who will be truly missed. Always thinking of you Lewis, Robert Seago
Lewis and I first met during the summer of 1961 at the former First National Bank in Dallas. We shared a close friendship during our early days in banking with business between NBC and my bank in Clifton, Tx. We enjoyed our common background in Chilton and Clifton while growing up in small town Texas. AEKDB dear Brother. Bob Lane
