I met Lillian Cole at age 4 when she and my mother, Jackie Byerly, became best friends. She was a tiny fiery little red head with a very no-non-sence attitude and a temper to match. I always treaded very lightly around her. She was a very talented lady musically and in decorating and especially in cooking. LOVED her Christmas cookies!
I am thankful for the contribution you made to all of our lives.
Mrs Evans was the Mother of my dearest friend Cole. I met Lillian Cole while working with Cole. She was a delightful lady with never ending energy. I was very lucky to have been able to meet her and to enjoy her wonderful loving family.
Cole and Family, Sorry for your loss at this time of the year. When I saw your mom's photo, I smiled with joy. She looks the same as when I knew her in high school (well, almost). Our thoughts and prayers are with you while you celebrate her life of music, art and family.
Lillian Cole was a beautiful, gracious lady and like a sister to my Mother, Leila Crosby, who also passed away on December 15, 2010. Mother loved all the "Jackson family". I always was in awe of the wonderful sisters. How we will miss this beautiful lady and this generation that no longer exists, of friends and family.
Our family is getting smaller but at least we have the confort of kn owning our loved ones live on in God;s grace. Love to both you and Bill.
Cole and family: Although it made me sad to hear through Darlene of Lillian Cole's death, I was so happy for her and all of you that she didn't have to be ill anymore. She of all people would have hated it! I've been enjoying that wealth of memories I have of playing with her all those years in the orchestras, and the good times we had. She–and you all–remain close in my mind and heart. Love, Ellen
Dear Cole, Just got back from a trip and read the e-mail about your mothers passing. My thoughts are with you as I know how much you loved her. Mona
