Linda Hassell's Obituary
Hassell, Linda T. passed away May 31, 2017. She was born October 12, 1921, in Honey Grove, Texas, the daughter of Harry L. and Lucile Thompson. She graduated from Texas Woman’s University. She was a secretary at Atlantic Richfield, where she met her husband Glen O. Hassell. She then took time off to raise her two daughters and then returned to work teaching preschool at Little Folks Day School at Park Cities Baptist Church, where she was a long-time member. Mrs. Hassell was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sister, Jane Dietz and her son-in-law, Wayne Sather. She is survived by her two daughters Elizabeth Tackett and husband Dean of Flower Mound and Elaine Sather of Sagle, Idaho; two grandsons, Dean Tackett, Jr. and wife Lindsay of Lantana and Cody Tackett of Monterey, California; granddaughter, Sarah DeKeyser of Lewisville; great-grandson, Caleb Tackett; and great-granddaughter, Molly Tackett. A graveside service will be held at Restland Cemetery, Dallas, Texas on Saturday, June 3, 2017, at 10:00 AM. Memorials may be made to Scottish Rite Hospital, Dallas, Texas. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
