Linda Lee Galloway Matthaei, age 67, of Whitney, Texas passed away peacefully on February 27, 2016 in the Alzheimers facility of Glen Rose Nursing and Rehab Center in Glen Rose, Texas. A graveside service will be held at 2 P.M. on Read Obituary

Some people are just so special that you know God sent them along your path for a reason. Linda has been an example of the Proverbs 31 woman to me and to so many other women who crossed her path. I learned so much just watching the special care she gave to her own family as well as others in the church community. I remember her often coming in to the school carrying a box full of interesting items she had prepared to share with the students to enhance their learning. Although I was not excited when she brought in the family?s pet snake, it turned out to be a wonderful learning experience for all. The thing I loved most about Linda was her peace. I now realize that her peace was so special because it was the peace of God. My love and prayers are with her precious family. Karon Sutton
