Today, I lit a virtual candle in memory of my unique and colorful Mother. To the dear folks in Texas, please continue to visit and call my step-father Jim. He misses her so very much and needs comfort. I and my sisters are miles away in PA and CT, so, although we call him frequently, we cannot simply stop by to give him a hug, take him to lunch, or just make sure he's okay. My sincere thanks go out to everyone who has been so supportive and helpful over the past few weeks.
Lois was a true friend and a wonderful supporter during the formative years of Terry's ministry, as well as a great "partner in crime" for Mary in the All Nations choir. The photo is from our wedding, which was held at the clubhouse for her townhome.

Lois has blessed my life for over 30 years. Memories of our times together will continue to bring smiles to my soul. The tender way she stroked the hair of a child, the exuberant hugs she shared with so many, her childlike delight when she touched a rose petal and her wonderous pleasure at the mockingbirds' songs are all memories seared into my heart. Today I lit a candle in memory of the everlasting light Lois is in the life of myself and my son Icshun. When I informed him of her passing, he had this look on his face, and when he could finally speak he said, "I thought they would live forever." Icshun, now 16 was 5 when he met Lois and Jim. We love and miss you Lois.
