Carol Warburton
Lois was a member of Newcomer Friends of Greater Plano and contributed stories about her family at our Family History meetings. One story she told was about a relative who had a dry good store years ago.She stocked the shelves with items that would appeal to ladies including lace and fine fabrics.
She was warned by some of the husbands that they didn’t want their wives wasting their money on such things, but this spunky lady paid no attention to them. So what did they do? They burned the store down!
Lois made you feel like you witnessed the whole thing.
Lois was such a smart and lovely lady. I’ll miss her.
