Lois and I began our friendship at Central Baptist Church as little girls in the early 1950s. I spent the night at her house several times and many Sunday afternoons were spent together, good times! Rita Cain (later Yocum) was part of the group of kids. We had so much fun! Lois was special, always sweet. If I remember correctly, I played for Lois and Richard's wedding. Sweet memories!
Some of my earliest memories were with Aunt Cissy at her wonderful daycare. She created such a magical place that molded many young minds. She was a hugely positive force in our family who brought us from far and wide to host big gatherings. Love you forever.
Lois and I were classmates at Crozier Tech for three great years. I remember her for the passionate, cheerful attitude she displayed in everything she was involved with......she was a born cheerleader for sure. It sounds like that trait carried her thru life. So sad to see such a grand lady depart this old world....we can't afford to lose Christians and Believers like Lois......Richard you two were a beautiful couple and enjoyed many loving years together. So glad to have been with you guys thru those three years in High School. God Bless and keep her.........Heaven just welcomed an Angel to eternity.
I met Lois when I enrolled my daughter to go to Sonshine Corners! She was an amazing woman and all the staff there too! Amy went there for several years and when Tyler was about a year, he went there also! I trusted them with both my children and it was a happy time! She will so be missed and just want to send hugs, prayers, & love to all the family!
So sorry to hear of Lois's passing. I worked with her many years ago in Dallas at an oil & gas company. She was a very nice woman. Jan Maitland
