Mongolian Church Honoring Lynda Nicholas
Lynda Nicholas was a dear and faithful friend. Since 1997 she and her prayer group prayed for me and Mongolia during the time I was ministering there and beyond. She was always available and welcomed me and my Mongolian “kids” whenever we had a chance to visit. I so appreciated her sensitivity to the Lord as she ministered to us.
I was thankful that my Mongolian daughter, Baagii and her husband, Shonkhor (Shawn) and I were able to meet with Lynda just a few weeks before her homegoing. Lynda was very special to Baagii, and it was important to her that Lynda could finally meet Shawn.
Here is a word directly from the Mongolian leaders who were impacted by her ministry:
It was our privilege to know sister Lynda Nicolas, a great friend of our spiritual mom, Joy Preston. We remember our first visit at Sojourn Church and met with very enthusiastic women full of joy and fire for prayers. Lynda was leading a wonderful group of strong intercessors. Our first impression of knowing Lynda was the degree of openness and humbleness she was carrying. Our group of Mongolian believers thought that we would be ministered by her team but was totally opposite. To our surprise, Lynda asked our team to bless their team and to serve in prayer and prophecy to each individual member in that meeting. This was a unique experience and pleasure to see how gifts are synergies to make His Body more stronger.
Each time when we visited Sojourn, Lynda would keep asking for a fresh anointing to be released into her team, but meanwhile, Lynda was coaching us to explore our gifts and have confidence in our callings.
After every ministry gathering, she and her teammates would bless us with wonderful lunch and fellowship. Lynda was taking care of us as her precious family and comrades in the house of the Mighty One.
We will be missing her passion to serve to the nations, her fellowship, laughter and joy.
Thank you to her family for sharing her with us. Bless you all!
