Mack and Terri have been friends of our family for over 50 years. We shared many friends. We also shared a common friend in the name of “Golf”.
Together, we enjoyed hours chasing the "little white ball". For me, one special memory exemplifies Mack’s character.
Our foursome arrived at the tee box only to see several ladies’ foursomes ahead of us. We busied ourselves getting our equipment out, only to look up and see Mack with his arms on two of the ladies’ shoulders and everyone was laughing.
When Mack returned to our tee box, we asked who the ladies were. He said, I don’t know. One of the ladies asked if we wanted to play through. I assured them that they would not slowdown our play, but if we were in the lead, we might just slow them down. Mack may meet a stranger, but one never stays a stranger.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Terri and all of Mack’s family. He is missed.
