In My Heart
I thought of you today, but that is nothing knew, I thought of yesterday and days before that too. I think of you in silence all I have are memories
Mrs. Madeline Townsend was like a family to me. She did not make me feel like a client and care taker. She made me one of her family. I always call her Mrs. Townsend and she will respond "that's my baby girl " She was a good person, a God fearing and caring woman.
I got to know Mrs Townsend a little over four years ago. She transformed our relationship from a working one to a family. She will always call me Rosemary where are you and my respond will be yes Mama, here I am and we will both burst into laughter.
She cared about my well being and my family in general. Some of her friends will say here comes Rosemary your caregiver, and she will say "no she is my family " I could go to her with any concern I had, and she will comfort me and say honey everything will be okay. Mama would sometime pray with me and my family. She was a caring woman.
when her health became an issue, I remember she said lam ready to meet my maker, my husband and my son. I felt sad but I knew she was going to a better place.
Mrs. Townsend, I thank God for crossing path with you, thank you for your words of encouragement. Your memory is our keepsake, with which we will never part. God has you in keeping. we have you in our hearts Mama Madeline. Rest in perfect peace
                                                              Rosemary
