Margaret gave me my first full time job babysitting Doug and Kathi one summer. She had several rules but the one I remember was no one was suppose to come in the house. Of course we broke this rule numerous times. One of the time Leigh Ann was in the house. I'm not sure what we were doing but a picture frame was broken. At first we all just looked at the broken glass. Then we came up with a plan. We bought a cheap frame, replaced the broken glass and vacuumed the rug for an hour. It was many, many years later that I finally confessed and she just laughed.
I'm going to miss driving down Rupley and stopping to talk whenever she was working in the yard.
