Dear Kevyn, I am sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. We were neighbors for many years, my folks lived on Highland 2 doors down. I have such lovely memories of your mom; butter and bread sandwiches, playing “stop light” on the front lawn and many “theater” productions on your patio. I marveled at how intelligent & accomplished your mom was; your family’s unique names for your cats, sending you girls to private schools, her worldly views. I remember she and Bill walking the track across the street from us and bicycling around the neighborhood. Hers was the first VW “bug” I had ever ridden in. I hope your memories of your mom are as wonderful as the ones I have. I was also saddened to hear about Randy & Hillary (Hoadie).
Kevyn:What lovely memories I have of your mom when we were at Lamplighter and later when we would meet up at the Howell’s parties. She was an important role model given all her civic involvement. Thinking of you.Hollis
