I worked for the USPIS in Fort Worth when Margarete worked in Dallas. She did several luncheons for us and I remember a wonderful chicken dish she fixed, and some great desserts, too! I still remember her accent, and her personality, like no one else!
As my former sister-in-law I knew Margarete as a very frugal, resourceful and talented lady. After coming to the U.S. she made every effort to make a wonderful home for her family. I admired her and loved her and know she will be missed very much. I will see her again in heaven one day. She made an impact on many lives. I am blessed to have known her.
