My friendship with Marie came about through our husbands. C. Ryan and my husband, Bob, served together in WWII. Their Artillery unit hosted annual reunions where we all became like'family'. Marie was a bright spot at our gatherings and I am very sad to her of her passing. My sincere sympathy and prayers of comfort to her family. Betty Gillum
I am sorry for the loss to the family and friends…especially warm thoughts and prayers for Mike Stevens and Dick Stevens (who I've known since school days)and all their relatives and friends. Marie was the one of the most active people I have ever met! She was like the energizer bunny, she never seemed to stop! She was an inspiration to everyone! She will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with her entire family during this difficult time.
