Years ago I headed up the Bereavement committee at Central Lutheran Church. When Robert died she asked if we would have the reception following his service at her house. We were glad to do so. Our receptions are gladly done as a gift to the family. She insisted on giving us $200.00. That was the beginning of the Central Lutheran Church Bereavement fund. We sat on the same pew for years. I got to know Marilyn thru the Altar Guild at Central Lutheran. She was a faithful participant in Communion prep and in our semi-annual sanctuary cleanings. She loved to bring Gavin along and let her help with Communion set up and clean up. We had lots of fun, the three of us. She was always ready to help. Anne Monson
