Marilyn Garin Guenther's Obituary
Guenther, Marilyn Garin was born on October 28, 1922 and passed away on July 28, 2017. She is preceded in death by parents, Leo Joseph Garin and Orla Henrietta Olson and stepfather William Torrance; husband of 61 years Robert F. Guenther; brother Don and sister Nora Mae. She is survived by her daughter Jane G. Freitas and husband Frank; son, Robert C. Guenther and wife Suzanne; grandchildren, Garin Davidson, Nick Freitas, and Caitlin Clinton; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Thursday, August 3, 2017, at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, August 4, 2017, at the Restland Wildwood Chapel with interment immediately following at Restland Memorial Park. Officiated by the Rev. Richard Pounds of Central Lutheran Church. The family requests memorials are made to Central Lutheran Church, 1000 Easton Road., Dallas, Texas, 75218. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
